How to retain Top Talent

·         Pay the smarter in a smartest way!
o   Today C&B is designed by the understanding, bench marking from other companies, industry future trends, manager’s decision and so on (External Consultant). By this the actual C&B is not indigenous. Since, one size does not fit for all, the C&B should be customised in such a way that at least of 75% of the employees must be satisfied. Smarter should get the smart pay.
·         Take away managers’ power over employees
o   Create an ecosystem where manager should never take decisions unanimously on who should be; hired, fired, promoted, demoted, rewarded, reprimanded, the decision must be in a collective and data driven decisions
·         Develop the talent Continuously
o   A global CEO asked a CLO, what should we do if we train the employees and they leave, learning officer answered, what you would do if they are not trained and stay. Delimiting the blocks to learn to the employees will certainly makes him to be more oriented towards the organisation
·         Alignment of personal aspirations to the organisation goals
o   Any employees loyalty towards the organisation declines if the company is not the vehicle to their personal growth. Org should create job roles and job families in such a way that, it should create a road map for an individual.
·         Employer should decide whether they would like to be an employer of choice or by force
·         Reward those who ask difficult questions on the current company policies

·         At last the most important one : TRUST, trust your employees
